The point of art (a poem)

To lead the world from Darkness,
not to justify its existence
To be bold and show goodness,
not to beg and ask for repentance

To die upon your own rock,
rather than conform to their standards
To give evil a moral shock,
rather than be just a mere gander

You are to be a shinning light
You are to show that greater than life
What lessons will be learned from your illuminations?
A mad man’s monster’s rationalization?
Or a poor young boy’s new motivation?
